Teen Manga & Anime Club | "Sailor Moon" & Moon Stick Pens In-Person

Monthly on the 3rd Thursday from 5:30 p.m. - 7:45 p.m.
New and seasoned Japanese visual culture fans are invited to join our club! Each month we’ll try out a new series by reading the first volume of the manga before meeting to discuss it and watch the first episode of the corresponding anime. Stick around afterward for a related activity, which could be anything from a craft to a competition! For January’s club meeting, we’ll be watching and discussing Sailor Moon by Naoko Takeuchi. When Usagi adopts a cat who turns out to be of the magical, talking variety, she finds out that she’s a protector princess from the future. Now, she must embark on a quest to save the universe from evil! Afterwards, we’ll make our own Moon Sticks that double as pens! Copies of February’s series, Kakuriyo: Bed and Breakfast for Spirits by Midori Yūma, will be available for pickup.
