In Celebration of USD 428 Reading Initiative come listen to Kansas Children's Author Shelly Simoneau and enjoy smores , laughter and smiles!

author and storyteller currently living in Topeka, Kansas. She has earned a Bachelor of Science in Education and Master of Arts in Education, and has taught in Kansas public schools for 20+ years. 
Shelly's published books include
The Cows Came Running and the Horses Did Too!,  Wash Creek,   Daddy Was a
Carpenter, Snake Tree, Grasshopper Bubblegum, and Tinker in the TankerHer children’s books are inspired by childhood memories and experiences growing up in the farming community of Wilsey, Kansas. 
Shelly’s storytelling style has been molded from lessons learned throughout her lifetime. She delivers a variety of character-building, inspirational, engaging stories for children and adults of all ages at libraries, schools, and special events.
