Stress Management (Adult Life Skills series)

Stress Management (Adult Life Skills series) In-Person

Presented by Allie Cartwright.

More people than ever today live with constant anxiety. Pressures of modern society lead us to grinding out our to-do lists with as little awareness as possible. This leads to feeling overwhelmed, stressed, anxious, and disconnected from your life, just trying to survive one moment to the next. It does not need to be this way! Join me for a free session on how to harness the power of your mind, your awareness, and your reality so that you may live your absolute best life.

We will cover:

  • How the mind creates our perception of reality and how to consciously train it.
  • Why energy hygiene is a must for mental and physical health.
  • How to begin cultivating a habit of meditation and mindfulness that works for you.

Great Bend Public Library's "Adult Life Skills" series of classes is designed to help adults learn skills to succeed in everyday life. This event is open to all adults, and teens are also welcome to join if they are accompanied by a responsible adult. No library account is necessray to attend!
